(Bottle): Pours a clear bronze, small off white head. Sweet malt aroma but not much else. Straightforward weak taste of caramel, malt and a little bit of spice. Just plain boring to me.

I donít care how fashionable this isnít or how far itís knocked for being commercial, I enjoy this straight-forward non-pretentious bitter. Hoppy, medium bitterness on the finish. Medium body.

Half litre bottle, poured into pint glass. A: Bronze, clear, small tanned head, poor retention, some lacing. S: Malt, yeast, fairly boozy. T: Fruity, earthy, moderate bitterness, some fuggles, grassy finish. M: Medium body, slightly on the heavy side, well carbonated which gave it a coarse edge. O: Earth didnít move, a bit like a watered down uninteresting Dubbel.

Medium beige head. Clear amber body. Fruity toffee aroma with caramelly notes. Sweetish earthy raisins and caramel taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish perfumy caramel and licorice aftertaste with spicy notes. Finish is kind of watery, but still a nice, delicate beer. (0.5l bottle, from Co-op, Whitby.)

#22 - a deep bourbon colour, it looks stunning. Courage has a deep bitter taste, that is perfectly rounded off with a strong burst of fruit, with a slight lemon honey aftertaste. Lovely.

Appearance: dark brown/orange, medium brown/yellow head. Aroma: Black tea, peppery, muted vanilla, malty with some wet cardboard to it. Flavour: Bitter, lots of malt, a little citrus but infused with spicy tea, long cardboard spicy finish.

Ambrée au col fin. Limpide. Des arômes très léger un peu trop même. Mais en bouche c'est vraiment agréable. Très bien équilibré entre amertume et sucre. Des pontes de caramel. Légère en alcool elle se boit bien les soirs d'été.

Bottle. Brown colour with a minimal white head, good lasting. Aroma is cerealish, dry hops and caramel slightly toasty. Flavor have a medium bitterness, toasty, slightly wooden, nuts and caramel hints. The final is light with a mild biterness.

A malty brown pour with a dirty beige head. Smells of dirty malt and cocoa powder. Tastes like super bitter dried cocoa and malt. Good and dirty.
