Can. Amber bronze, thin, shortlasting white head and moderate condition. Low caramel malt in the nose, thin and sweet with a touch of toffee and low hops in the mouth. Slight caramel notes and hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, rich head. Vaguely malty. Clean and rounded. Despite it's low ABV it is not overly thin, but not really that flavourful either. Low bitterness.

Lamb & Flag, Covent Garden, London. Light ale? Ewwww... Not that good of taste, if there even was much taste. I can't imagine this is actually a bitter.

The aroma is sweet and hoppy. The color is amber and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is a little light, but malty and pretty hoppy. It was somewhat flat even though I had it from a bottle. The malt blend tasted weird on my tastebuds.

Bottle. What a pleasant little beer. Clear shear gold with a slight head. Some sweet hop aromas and good taste. Very pleasant little beer, which beat my not so high expectations.

Sitting in the shadow of Windsor Castle while sipping this didn't help its taste. A limp, flavorless ale.

Bottled. I was surprised by the unusually high alcohol aroma from the bottle. Highly carbonated, light brown appearance. Watery aroma, slighty malty and a hoppy freshness. The taste is rather watery, but with a pleasant rounded malt flavour. Also, a honey flavour seems to come through, but is overpowered by a sharp bitter edge burgeoning on sour.A merely adequate light ale, then again I don’t suppose anyone really tastes light on it’s own. A small group of drinkers mix it with bitter, but few of those really care what brand it is or what it tastes like. It gets a higher overall rating simply because it would serve its purpose for me, to cut the unpleasant flavours of a bad pint of bitter.
