Draft at the brewpub. Poured a garnet brown color with a tan head. Smelled of brown sugar and toffee. there was also a whiff of cherry. Medium bodied and slightly sweet. Malt flavors including the likes of molasses and brown sugar mingled with tart, but subdued cherry and wheat notes. There was a bit of white paper somewhere in the middle, but it did detract too much. Simply described, this was like a glass of molasses soaked cherries. not a bad beer.
