3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
State week month, week 2 Oct 9th - 15th. State: Iowa.
Pours a hazy golden color with a long lasting small head that leaves good lace.
The aroma is focused around peachy and melony hops with a light lime stone aroma and a good bit of pine sap.
The beer is very bitter tasting with plenty of grapefruity hops, some lime zest, and a little bit of resiny flavor. Like most of the beers I had this evening there was a minerally flavor, I don’t know if it was just me... or if something was uniting these beers to have this flavor. It worked very well in some of them, this one specifically.
