Skyview (4880) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - FEB 1, 2010
On draught at the Courthouse Pub in downtown Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Pours a clear dark amber colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing and a thin ring. Aroma of fruity and roasted caramel malt, toffee, some floral hops and a hint of sweet perfume. Taste is medium to full bodied, with flavors of caramel malt, a hint of candi sugar, yeast and a touch of toffee. Finish is semi-sweet, a hint of medicinal and a little alcohol (6.5 percent-ish). Slightly different from their seasonal weizenbock but a touch sweeter and more caramel malt.
