JPDIPSO (4266), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 2, 2008 Hazed golden color with a small off-white head. Caramel and touch of dried herbs in the aroma. Caramel and mild wood flavors. A touch astringent. Skyview (2901), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 24, 2007 Cool! Another defunct Wisconsin brewery brand revived by Courthouse Pub. On draught at the brewpub/restaurant in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, pours a slight hazy orange amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring. Aroma is more fruity than the other beers at Courthouse Pub. Other scents include caramel malt, some sweet pear and apple peel. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of fruity malt and a touch of citrus zest. Finish is semi-sweet, slightly fruity with no bitterness in the aftertaste. I barely recall trying an original Liebrau beer, last brewed by the Oshkosh Brewing Company (1971) which was a corn adjunct beverage. This beverage is a major improvement from the last brew from over 35 years ago.
