Draft at Courthouse Pub. 1516 Maarzen huh. Filtered. Thin oily head. Another diacetyl WI bomb. Astringently sour and sweet as well, with a solid gross butterscotch offness. Embarrassingly bad, only in WI. So bad I complete give up on this brewery. Nutty toffee off finish.

On draught at the Courthouse brewpub in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Pours a clear dark copper colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some floral hops, a touch of brown sugar and some toffee. Taste is medium bodied, slightly tart with caramel and a touch of apple skin. Finish is slightly metallic with a mild caramel malt aftertaste that quickly disappears.
