JPDIPSO (4189), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Sep 21, 2007 Copper color with a wispy light cream colored head. Pale malt, wheat, bananas and a somewhat acerbic scents. Lightly toasted malt followed by a tartness that quickly washes any sweetness away. Reminds me of an aged weiss that has set in the back of my cooler forgotten and finally rescued, well as least relieved of its duty of guarding the other brews. Skyview (2657), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Sep 9, 2007 On draught at the brewpub in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear, dark caramel amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring and very spotty lacing. Aroma of light caramel and multi-grain malt, slightly sour with an apple vinegar character. Taste is medium bodied, well carbonated with a tart malt flavor. Finish has a slight tart finish, metalic and slightly acidic. Not sure if the beer line was infected or this is how the brew is supposed to taste. If this was to be entered as a sour beer, this would score a little higher.
