The beers at this place sure do look good. Dark copper color with an off white head. Astringent and biting. Not clean with an alcohol bite to boot.

On draught at the brewpub in downtown Manitowoc, Wisconsin as Courthouse Red Ale. Pours a dark copper amber brew with a decent creamy beige head that slowly dissipates to a cream top head. Aroma is a little fruity with caramel malt, brown sugar, a touch of honey and some alcohol presence. Taste is medium to full bodied, with flavors of toasted dark malt, a touch of apple, caramel and a touch of chocolate. Finish has a mild alcohol bite with some apple skin and caramel aftertaste. Nice to see this beer has returned this year.
