3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2014 Appearance: the beer is a clear deep mahagony color, pours with a medium head that has nice density and is light tan
Aroma: grass, pine, faint
Taste: grass, bitterness throughout, has a lightly sweet malt backbone, strong bitter finish
Palate: average carbonation, leaves mouth wet, has a strong bitter aftertaste, full mouthfeel
Overall: this is a good ipa, the best beer I’ve had from this brewer, it’s got a lot of malt and even more hops, I had this a while back when I toured their brewery and I’m glad to see they started bottling it

On tap @Bamboula’s. Pours a deep reddish brown appearance with a foamy brown head. Burnt caramelized sugar, tangerine, toast in the nose. Fairly bitter. Moderately sweet. Kind of goopy mouth feel. A lot of lingering bitterness. OK I spose.
