Darkish amber colour. The aroma is dominated by rather dusty malt. The flavours are predominantly malt too, but quite dry. Not very bitter. Quite chewy for a session bitter. Not bad. cask (gravity), Thurrock Beer Festival.

Thurrock Beer Fest. A muddy, almost brown amber colour. A warm, sort of brown tasting bitter with faint chocolate notes. A cross between a stout and a bitter - very attractive.
