Bottle. Huge head on the pour. Color was a dull, murky yellow/gold. Aroma of wheat, lemon, acidic sour notes, and a bit of funk. Flavor was crisp and tart. Lemon flavor throughout with some wheat hints.

Pours a straw yellow, hazy, with a big head of foam that doesn’t last long. There is none in my glass now. The nose is all aboot the wheat; I only sense some sort of tartness. . I get a lemon zest and mild tartness to go with the wheat in the taste. That and a mild flavour of some kind of melon. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Nice brew. Refreshing brew.

22oz bottle shared by Smith. Filtered looking yellow-tan body. Massive steady foamy white head. Funky cheesy aroma. Relatively mellow, drinkable. Creamy, almost corny malt tones. Delicate carbonation despite the massive head and bubbles. Interesting deep wheat tones. Sour wheat. Fragile, delicate body. Easy going.

On tap, w/o syrup, poured a cloudy orange hue w/ minimal diminishing head. Moderate acidic fruit aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold tart finish. Tastes are lemon, grapefruit, milk, and a light straw. Medium bodied and bright carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Hazy yellow pour, no head. Big bready, wheat aroma. Taste is lightly tart, fruity, slightly puckering. Great, refreshing summer beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong tart fruit, funk, and wood. Thin mouthfeel with nice raspberry tartness and light sour finish, easy to drink, really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. A- Wheat, lemons, grains. A- Pale yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Lemons, wheat, yeasty, sour, tart, funky. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, tart finish. O- I was super excited to try my first Berliner, so obviously I had really high hopes. Maybe too high. While this wasn’t completely horrid, I was let down. The sourness was just too much and it reminded me too much of a shandy. I wish I had had some raspberry syrup to try it with, that may have made a world of difference. I did balance it out with some maraschino cherry juice and that did seem to help, but the tart funky yeast taste was just not for me. It’s so close to being really good.
