Very pale yellow colored pour with a white head. A bit watery at first, but some nice tartness to it. Strong wheat and lactobacillus aroma, some straw, and a bit of grass. Very light flavor of lemon zest, lactic acid, wheat, and straw. Notes of grass, very mild yeast, and a light malt sweetness. Quite dry on the finish, too.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small, white head. Dry, slightly lactic aroma. Medium body, dry and slightly citric, quite some yeast and fruit. Lightly tart and citric - but nowhere near as tart as a German example of the style. 221112

22oz bottle with a QR code on the front label, $6. Nice cloudy yellow color. Smells wheaty and possibly tart. The flavor was quite good, wheat, sour lemon (but subtle), citrus, yeast. Very easy to drink and now I’m really interested in the style. Overall, a good tart wheat beer. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-24-2011 02:17:27
