bottle thanks to Ratman197. deep orange / red pour with almost no head... very light carbonation. spiced nose with light pumpkin and sweet malts. med body with lots of spice (nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice), light pumpkin, caramel and light bubblegum. spiced finish with sweet malts - falls a bit short on the end.

Pour is dark orange-red with off white head, aroma has some cinnamon, clove, pumpkin, hints of toffee and biscuit. Taste is a bit on the spicier end, with notes of cinnamon coming through strongly, hints of clive, pumpkin and caramel, finishing fairly dry with more spice.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 adnielsen (3755) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Tap @ Choice City. Copper orange appearance with an off white head. Quite spicy nutmeg, milder cinnamon, rich pumpkin, caramel malty aroma. Pretty spicy pumpkin ale- nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, light vanilla- caramel malty flavor. Not bad but it’s a pretty spicy pumpkin ale.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 3fourths (6403) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 13, 2011
clear copper body, small head. pumpkin and caramel malt nose, light and simple. pumpkin is more of a sweetened /additive type than pulp or pie filling. medium body up front, thinning in back, slight rough malt on the edges. semi-sweet thin finish.

Bottle poured aclear orange amber with a smal lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, pumpkin, nutmeg and allspice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, pumpkin, nutmeg, and allspice with a smooth lingering spiced finish.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 onceblind (1622) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 24, 2011
12oz bottle. Very surprised there aren’t more ratings. Clear dark burnt orange with a thin cap head. Very pumpkiny aroma, like pumpkin rind with some nutmeg/cinnamon combo as well. Nothing out of the ordinary on the nose for a pumpkin ale. Taste is just too dang light. A watered down pumpkin beer with too much reliance on autumn spices. Pumpkin tones are there, but faint. Earthy amber malts form the backbone, but there’s no complexity or body. Shame.

12oz bottle. 1st bottle rating. Overly sweet, overly spiced and full of pumpkin-y flavor. Eh, I can’t stand the sweet or the spice. Had this side by side with Schlafly pumpkin, this is a much worse beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bhensonb (7583) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 9, 2010
Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark amber. Very pie spice. Seems heavy on clove and nutmeg. Pumpkin sort of seeps through in the finish. It’s very tasty.
