bhensonb (7583) - Woodland, USA - OCT 9, 2010
Bottle from the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Defintely strawberry aroma. Flavor is a bit strawberry jam. Though it seemed to start more like fresh berry. Finishes bready/wheaty.

650 ml. bottle. Pours a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma of grain and mild sweet strawberries. Taste is malt and strawberries. Sweet for sure. Lots of carbonation. Not terrible.

Gregis (1256) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Pours a fairly clear pale gold with an explosive fluffy white head. The first pour was about 15% beer and 85% towering, expanding head. As it recedes, it leaves behind sticky, patchy lace. Adding to the glass again results in a pillar of foam rising out of the glass. (After rating over 1200 beers, I’ve never seen a beer behave like this.) The aroma is a muted blend of cereal grain, club soda and a strawberry candy-like note. The palate is light-bodied but comes across as more substantial due to the significant amount of fine carbonation that it possesses. It finishes fairly dry, especially for this style, with a mineral-like quality lingering past the swallow. The flavor is of faint cereal malt blended with a strawberry seltzer water. I could see someone drinking this on a hot summer day, as it does have a "refreshing" quality about it, and it’s not saccharin-sweet like a fruit/wine cooler. It just doesn’t have the flavor to match its effervescence.

(bottle, sampled 6/7/10). Clear gold color, with excellent clarity. Medium off white head, which quickly diminishes. Sweet, fresh strawberry aroma. Light sweet strawberry flavor, with very light tartness. Avg duration. Dry finish. Soft to moderate carbonation. Spare lacing.

drjay44 (1734) - Salida, Colorado, USA - FEB 21, 2011
650 ml. bottle. Pours a huge rapidly collapsing white head, over a yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is light strawberry, biscuit, toast, and a rubbery off organic chemical tone....taste is light fruit, light cereal, finishing with organic chemical tones...mouth feel is light, carbonation high. This is a very simple fruit beer, that, with the off aroma and flavors, has either gone bad, or was terrible to start. BJCP 5/3/9/4/4

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a tall frothy white head. Aroma of grass, perfume, dried strawberries, florals, butterscotch, and biscuit. Flavor of biscuit, light lemon, dried strawberries, vanilla wafers, and grain.

Beaver (913) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 3, 2010
22oz bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is strange. Lots of strawberries with weird off notes (rotten fruit and feet? maybe baby puke).

The flavor is wheaty malts with the same weird rotten strawberry with a dry finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation.

Overall, lots of weird off notes. The strawberries help cover them somewhat. I did finish the bottle.

Very strange aroma and flavor both. Super sweet with a hint of cotton candy and saltwater taffy... not even strawberry taffy..

BeerandBlues2 (6096) - Lone Tree, Colorado, USA - AUG 12, 2010
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a very slight red tint and a small, frothy white head, low retention with no lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet strawberry with grain malt, little to no hop or yeast character. Flavor is lightly strawberry with no hop flavor and little bitterness, but mostly malt. Finish is watery. Light bodied and medium carbonation.

thirdeye11 (4093) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 6, 2010
(650ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear golden, the color of apple juice. Lasting bubbles. Nose of lactic acid (vomit?), crunch berries, strawberry, honey quite sweet. Taste of dry grain, berry, captain crunch berries, with a linger of cereal grains.
