750 thanks to Dallas. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A sweet nose of peaches and yeast. A dry, peachy flavor with light dry horseblanket, sweet peach flavors balance this out. Pretty nice.

750ml bottle from Aaron, split with my wife. Pours a hazy amber color with a huge white head and some lacing. Aroma is straw, light peach, a little funky, some grass. Medium on the palate with big, soft carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, some lemon, a little yeasty, grass, wheat, some oak, with a sour lemon finish. Ok.

THE Fruit Sour tasting. Another rare one - thanks Jack. Hazy gold beer, massive pale cream coloured head. Light airy palate, dry. Floral bretty airyness! Light citrus. Light bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of peach, straw, spice, light barnyard funk, light oak and light vinous notes. Palate was light boidied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of peach, straw, light spice, light oak and light vinous notes with a crisp dry lingering peach finish.

Bottle at The Fruit Sour Tasting, London - thanks to Jack for the obscure! Pours cloudy gold with a medium white foam head. Doughy malt nose, hints of brett and light manure. Light to medium sweet flavor, grass, manure, large brett character. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Lightly dry to finish with some oily grass, poop, fair bitterness. Good.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (basement, barnyard), with a note of peach, light notes of plastic, lemon zest, and oak. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy/lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Finally, a Crabtree beer that isn’t infected! The aroma is pretty pleasant overall, if a bit mild, and might get better in time if there’s active Brett in the bottle...the Brett character is a bit light now, but certainly noticeable. It comes off as a tart Belgian-ish fruit beer more than anything else, but it doesn’t do anything poorly...it’s not too sweet or boozy or fruity or any number of other problems beers like this often have. It seems to play things a little too safe and simple, and it’s kinda flabby in the mouth, but that’s about it in terms of complaints. I’m never wowed by fruit beers, but for what it is it’s perfectly serviceable.

Poured from a 750ml bottle. Some brettanomyces character, the foam kept creeping up the neck. Fruity, stone fruit, grainy, spicy. A tasty beer, very enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to Jackl at THE fruit sour tasting. It pours cloudy light orange with a medium white head. The nose is sour apricot, peach, creamy, light sourness and apricot yoghurt. The taste is quite soft, spice, leaf/grass, orange peel, apricot, brett, earth and vinous notes with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Too sweet in my opinion. So-so.
