Multiple draft samples at the brewpub and various other eateries in Athens. Pours a clear, medium-golden color with a small, foamy white head. Sticky, snake-like lacing marks the glass. The aroma shows sweet, pale malts, cereal grains, floral hops, and a touch of lactic creaminess. The flavor shows lightly toasty pale malts, hints of caramel, and a dash of spiced floral hops. Light-medium bodied and moderately carbonated, this one is easy to drink and quite sessionable. Good balance and surprising substance for the style. One of the best pale lagers I’ve ever had, for sure, but of course that isn’t really saying much.

Tap in Athens. A nice refreshing beer that was better than other standard Greek lagers. Perfect for hot summer in Athens.

330ml bottle. Gold honey straw colour with a dense creamy white foam head. Clear with mild carbonation and a salty aroma of malt and hops, nothing outstanding. Full flavour with a slight metallic aftertaste. Feels good in the mouth. Okay without being great.

Draft, at Vanilla, Santorini, Greece. </br> Pale yellow larger, fine white head. Thin bitter fizz. A first rank larger with little or no real flavour. This was my first craft beer had out on the islands before visiting the bar in Athens. It’s probably the worst of the selection of beers and not indicative of the rest of the portfolio. Thin as hell.

Draught, tasted at the brewpub, a crystal clear honey gold colour with no head. A soft sweet malty aroma, maybe a touch of honey in there. A plain dry lagery palate, grassy and grainy.

Clear golden colored brew with a good head. Aroma has flowery hops and malts. Flavor has some sweetness, some maltyness, a bit flowery hops, honey and grain. Overall pretty drinkable, best Greek beer yet.

Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow/golden with a diminishing white head. Aroma is fruity/floral. Kind of weak. Cereals/malt and some hop notes appear as it warms. Flavour is sweet and hoppy with notes of bread. Faint grainy and metallic notes as well as fruity as it warms. Bitter finish with a cheese note (a bit nasty) and lingering fruity notes. 23.08.11.
