A light start with a moderate hoppiness with a moderate acid finish. Frothy white head, good fully lasting lacing and a clear with light to medium body. One of the best lagers produced in Greece

Beershine (5196) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. A shade brassier and flatter/less bright than the pils. Stable head. Very fresh grain aroma is sweet and bland but clean, much nicer than the bottled version I had a day earlier. Clean pure malt with fruity undertones, is not too sweet. Is good, balanced, and refreshing.

Bottle 330ml from King&Godfree. Pretty flavoursome for a pale lager. Aromas of honey, caramel, and smoke. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Yellow, with a frothy head.

Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - JUL 4, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2008 One of the seven beers that Craft produces (Craft is a fine Brewery/restaurant, there are three in Athens). This is the worst one (but way above average in comparison to other greek lagers), a typical lager with a slight bitter aftertaste.

Multiple draft samples at the brewpub and various other eateries in Athens. Pours a clear, medium-golden color with a small, foamy white head. Sticky, snake-like lacing marks the glass. The aroma shows sweet, pale malts, cereal grains, floral hops, and a touch of lactic creaminess. The flavor shows lightly toasty pale malts, hints of caramel, and a dash of spiced floral hops. Light-medium bodied and moderately carbonated, this one is easy to drink and quite sessionable. Good balance and surprising substance for the style. One of the best pale lagers I’ve ever had, for sure, but of course that isn’t really saying much.

Bottle. It pours a clear, pale golden body with a small white head on top. Pleasant malty and fruity nose with some grains and hops. Nice fruityness in the mouth. Pale malt and hops giving resiny flavors and bitterness too. Dry, medium mouthfeel. Nice bitterness in the finish, to balance the sweetness, and it’s also quite fruity. A really nice Mediterranean pale lager, tasteful, quenching and easy to drink. (080829)
