Bottled. A golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of straw, citrus, and bread. The flavor has light notes of straw, malt, and cardboard, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Keg at Brewpub. Nothing special! A classic lager for helping your meal go down. Slightly better than other beers from larger breweries. Drink frozen!

Bottle 330ml from King&Godfree. Pretty flavoursome for a pale lager. Aromas of honey, caramel, and smoke. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Yellow, with a frothy head.

Descent lager beer. Better than some lagers that can be found worldwide, like Amstel or Heineken for instance. After all, it’s a microbrewery, not a mass production company, so you get the difference.

Scopey (1659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2011
Keg at Craft Brewery, Athens. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is soap, manure and farmyard. The taste is white bread, light floral, butter, hay and straw, with a sweet malt finish. Light body, high carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not great.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Oren. Clear golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with a bit of yeast and some hops. Sweetish flavor with a caramelly hint and a mildly bitter finish with some hoppiness. Light-medium-bodied. Quite OK.

In bottiglia sotto il Partenone; non malaccio, ma troppo cerealicola per essere apprezzata. Unica artigianale greca trovata: stanno messi male
