Draft at the brewpub in Athens. The body is a clear, dark, chestnut brown color with crimson highlights. A small, foamy, tan colored head leaves random flares of sudsy lacing on the glass. The aroma showcases scorched caramel malts, molasses, indiscernible dark fruits, cocoa, and earthy, bitter hops. The flavor follows those same lines, with perhaps a touch of day-old coffee lending further bitterness. Very earthy overall. Medium bodied and smooth, finishing quite dry. Solid beer, and second only to the smoked lager amongst the Craft brews that I got to try.

Bottle from Nightfall, thanks! Deep dark brown color, almost black. Roastaroma with cappucino. Malty, roasty sweet flavor with cappucino and a hint of ash. Also a hint of pear. Pleasant session beer.

Review for the past. From a store on Corfu. Poured a dark brown color, topped with beige head. Roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Taste was mildly sweet at the start, roasty body with coffee in the finish.

Draught, tasted at the brewpub, dark with little head. A sweet toffee and coffee aroma. Quite strong carbonation, but also a strong roasted coffee flavour. A bit weak on the palate though.

Craft is the finest Greek beer.I,myself prefer the smoked one but this is great, too.A fine, black lager who has a fine carbonation,it’s as bit refreshing as a lager and yet very malty like a dunkel. It’s a very fine beer.

A good beer overall. Pleasantly surprised to see that there is Greek beer that could keep me busy while visiting! This one feels like a bock, but with very large amounts of carbonation. I guess carbonation and hot weather usually go hand in hand.

From old notes. From 330ml bottle. Dark brown color with off white head. Malty aroma, roasted, caramel, bready, licorice, light smoked, some hoppy notes. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation.

Mild coffee nose. Pale beige fast disappearing head. Dark reddish brown color. Mild coffeyish malty and syrup taste with some hints of licorice. At the end bitterness. Slightly salty.
