WISEGUY572 (1099), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pleasant surprise, a real pils in Greece. Clear light gold, small foamy head, typical Craft lacing. Nose and taste of hops and traditional Czech hopping. Pleasantly, and surprisingly, it had an intense, long, bitter finish. Mouth feel nothing special. It is after all a pils. Beerlando (1237), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 20, 2008 Draft at the brewpub in Athens. Pours light to medium golden in color. A small, foamy white head leaves thick sheets of lacing on the glass. Aromatics include lactic yeast, corny malts, dough, floral hops, and a hint of lemon peel. Flavors show primarily cereal grains and floral hops, with some lactic creaminess bridging the gap between sweet and hoppy. The body is moderate in stature, with a smooth, creamy palate. Overall, it’s a decent pils, but I actually preferred the pale lager ever so slightly. aru (51), Smørum, Denmark Jul 20, 2008 One of the better pilsners - but still a pilsner. Yellow color with white head. Some hobs but and nice in the heat. Just slightly better than main stream industrial pilsners. Chris_Thomson (183), Luzern, Switzerland Aug 19, 2007 Athens, 07. Tried these beers as a tasters sample at the brew pub. All beers much better than the beer available in 99% of the bars in Athens, but nothing fantastic. This beer had some decent hops in it. mabel (1583), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 28, 2007 [318-20070525] Tap @ Craft (Athens). Light alcohol yeast aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a small creamy white head. Same wheat flavour with a sweet finish. Nice and light body. Nothing interesting but not offensive.
