Beerlando (1356), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 20, 2008 Draft at the brewpub in Athens. Pours a clear, medium-dark amber color. A small, cream colored head is quickly fleeting, leaving just soapy, wet lacing behind. The aroma shows overly sweet caramel malts, toast, and floral hops. Flavors are again a bit too sweet and heavy on caramel malts, with floral hops falling short of their intended purpose. Medium bodied, but seemingly all of the substance is coming from the sugar. Boring and not very well executed.
tarjei (1300), Bryne, Norway Sep 25, 2008 33 cl bottle at Hopheads´ third tasting - bought in Greece by Roger. Brown color, moderate white head. Aroma is most of all sweet malt. Flavor is sweet amd malty with some hops. Ok, but nothing special, and in fact a bit boring. WISEGUY572 (1126), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pretty traditional red. Dark and crystal clear, with a good head and significant lacing. Nose and taste of sweet malts, caramel, and floral hops but not in American Red quantity. Chris_Thomson (183), Luzern, Switzerland Aug 19, 2007 Athens, 07. Tried these beers as a tasters sample at the brew pub. All beers much better than the beer available in 99% of the bars in Athens, but nothing fantastic. Had some decent malty flavour, but forgetable. mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 28, 2007 [320-20070525] Tap @ Craft (Athens). Nice hint of hops and some grain in the aroma. Clear, deep red amber body with a quick creamy white head. Mainly grainy flavour, some hops. Medium body. Nice blending.
