Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Drukket hjemme 20 Aug 12. Gyldenbrun med et bra skum som varer og fester seg til glasset. God røykaroma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er bare røyk med litt syrlighet i ettersmaken. Kjedelig.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft Cafe Grill & Beer House, Heraklion. Pours clear dark golden with a big creamy white head. Aroma of bacon and smoked meat. Taste is light sweet. the smoke is noticeable up front with a pleasant lingering role as well. A really good one, not pretending to be a proper german rauch, more a smoked lager.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
(33 cl bottle from Carrefour Chania; Produced on July 12th 2012) Pours a clear amber with little, off-white head that fades quickly leaving little lace. Aroma is nicely smoked resembling a firewood stove at its most pleasant or perhaps the ashea from a woodfire. Watery texture, medium body, medium carbonation and a caramel, malt, smoked finish. Pleasantmand interesting. Girlfriend says: "It reminds me of barbecue crisps. The taste is metallic though."

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a dark-gold, amber-like body, with an low white head that leaves no lacing. Very nice smoked aroma, but the taste doesn’t resemble the smoked-style beers. Thin to medium body, watery palate. Decent, but nothing special.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle served comfortably chilled in a tall Craft glass at Fat Snail Café in Rethymno. Clear amber coloured body with a slowly fading, off-white head. Dotted spots on the glassware. Plain and mild smoked malts to the nose. Smooth taste of caramel malts on a subdued backbone of bacon. Semi-sweet to the ending. Pretty straightforward, but quite nice (Rethymno, Crete 12.08.2012).

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From the archives: 2012 October. This was a surprise: smoked pale lager - you do not see that everyday. I hoped for more body, and more hopps. Still it was good an refreshing. Worth a try.

3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours light copper in color with a small white head. Nose is bbq hotdog. Not the best smoke nose I have ever smelled. I’m trying hard to get something else out of this but the hotdog is killing it. Flavor is slightly bitter with a good smoke flavor. Much better than the nose. Mouthfeel is soft and creamy, medium bodied with a good aftertaste.
