On tap at Lucky Baldwin’s Belgian fest Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a small head, the flavor is slightly tart. Certainly not a ’big’ sour ale, but more of one that you can sit back relax and sip for a while.

Draught at the Blind Lady. Pours hazy orange and red with a short tan head. Aroma is fruity and just a little sour cherry at the finish. Tart flavour at first and then some mellower fruit and cherries at the finish. Easy drinking gateway sour; great place to start.

Clear Amber color with lacey froth. Subtle sour nose. Palate is on the weak side, but clean. Unfortunately, this is one of those beers that leaves me with pretty much nothing to say. The beer completely lacks inspiration word inducements...which sucks from a rating standpoint. I dig craftsman and Marc as a brewer, but this is on the boring side.

Hazy reddish-brown. Lightly tart, fruity but overall not much nose. Tart palate, some fresh yoghurty character. Hints of wood, big vinous notes and a late flourish of alcohol. Pleasant balsamic notes at the very end.

On tap @ Hamy’s. This was one of my last beers of the night, my palate was a little wrecked. Poured a hazed burnt orange with virtually no head. Nose and flavor was Cabernet grapes with lots of oak and good sourness.

Cloudy, orange-brown. Lots of wood and wine, surprisingly low in the sourness department in both the aromas and the flavors which was a bit of a letdown but otherwise this brewer can do no wrong.

On tap at Liar’s Club. Clear red with no head. Slightly fruity aroma. Cider like cherry tartness. Decent.
