On tap at Stone. Another beer I missed at the Sour fests. Amber color. Nice sour tartness. Lactic sour, little or no acetic acid. Kind of like a cherry tartness. Easy to drink. Delicious.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2011 On tap at Lucky Baldwin’s Belgian fest Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a small head, the flavor is slightly tart. Certainly not a ’big’ sour ale, but more of one that you can sit back relax and sip for a while.

On tap at Blue Palms, Hollywood. Red copper, small head. Cherry fruit aroma and flavours, good sourness, hints of dry wood. A kind sour ale.

From the tap poured a straw color with a small amount of head. Nice tart flavor with a quick finish.

3/13/11 notes: draft. Pours a clear, light ruby color with decent head retention. Nose is nice array of fresh berries, highlighting a bit of tartness from cherries. Body is light, a bit creamy, mildly drying on the finish. Flavor starts with malt, biscuit and berries, then moves deeper into real tart cherry notes and a touch of almond. Sweetness balanced nicely by acidity and lighter body. Very good.

Rating #20 of this brew. Bright orange with off white H & L. Nose is spiced lemon and yeast. Taste is flat tart. Not sweet at all. Mildly bitter with a nice flat sourness. Don’t expect big movement on the palate, because it plunks. Very mild, to a fault. Yeast smack and sllight salivary gland instigator.

Tap at Stone Sour Fest 2009. Pours a dark amber color. Weak aroma of light funk as well as some malt. Flavor is kind of surprisingly on the sweet side with some malt and a nice funk. Tart finish. One of the better ones of the day.

On tap @ Blind Lady. A pleasant Flanders style sour ale. Not too sour, easy drinking and enjoyable as any other I’ve had. A nice treat.
