Bottle. Quite a citric, yeasty strong ale. Ever so slightly salty, nutty malt haracters, but it shows more yeasty, citric qualities than anything else. Not too bad in the end, but i think it could have been better.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are green apples and caramel - quite fresh. Flavours are sour apples with wood - almost cider-like so the bottle could be tainted (although previous ratings indicate otherwise). Has some caramel notes. The alcohol isn’t too prevalent. An odd tasting beer.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2008 Bottle, at London gathering, November 2005. Thanks to maeib for bringing this one. Golden colour, with toffee and chocolate (I note nobody else has picked this up, so perhaps I was imagining things). More toffee, with citric hops on the palate. Some yeasty notes and a sweet & sour feel. Unusual and interesting.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a slim white head. Hops, lemon and yeast in the aroma. Unusual lemon hoppy taste; which I think I like; but it’s one of those that you have to put a bit of effort in to - the liking don’t come easy!

Bottled at the Chris_O Beer, Cheese and Curry powwow. A hazy gold coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is hoppy and lemony and fruity alcohol similar to a Belgian. The taste is a little lemony but otherwise a bit unbalanced and sickly. Shame as it’s a good nose.

Bottle London Gathering Nov 05. Dirty gold colour with lasting white head. Nice and yeasty hop nose. Pretty good in mouth. Yep quite like it. Lemon hop finish. Really surprised that this was an English beer so I had to check the bottle.

Nov, 2005. Kilburn Palace Bottle Fest. Gently sweet with toffee notes. Some old flavours. Fades quickly.
