Bottle. Black with a small beige head. Aromas are light roast malts followed by herbal and spicy notes and alcohol vapours. Flavours are chocolate and coffee roast malts with some licourice and floral notes. has a decent level of spiciness. Alcohol not too obvious. Pretty good.

It’s a black/brown beer with a huge head. The aroma is very sour and musty with some weird spicy notes. The flavour is thin and unfortunately dominated by the very un-charming musty, earthy notes, that doesn’t give room for anything apart from a few spicy and malty notes. I do not at all get the feeling that it’s a stout, that I drink. I hope something was wrong with this bottle.

Bottle conditioned. Very dark brown with a huge tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and strong spices, mostly ginger. Taste is impressive with similar elements. Dry and smooth with a spicey alcoholic finish.
