On tap at O’Briens San Diego. Cloudy dark with minimal head. Smells like very sweet bananas. Tastes a bit too sweet but fairly nice overall flavor.

Pours with a muddy, amber-brown body with no head or lacing. The aroma is sweet and yeasty with a slight malt note, a touch of wheat and some candy sugar. The flavor is sweet, slight buttery and slightly yeasty with a touch of malt. Medium bodied and smooth with little carbonation.

(Draft: 2005 Stone 9th Anniversary Festival in Escondido, CA) Very fruity nose with lots and lots of banana, but I’m also getting a bit of rubbing alcohol which thankfully isn’t the dominant aroma. As with the nose, the prevaling flavor is sweet banana and some bubblegum. The sweetness continues into the finish, but is tempered by both tartness and light bitterness. The tartness I like, it balances the sweetness out, but the bitterness I could do without. Medium-full body, long substantial finish, good carbonation keeps the beer from becoming cloying on the palate. Ruddy brown in color and fully cloudy. The light tan head pours to nearly half an inch, not too shabby for a beer festival. All in all, I’m really enjoying this beer.

On draft at Stone’s 9th party. This was a murky brown pour. It was slightly sweet. Not bad.

Draught poured cloudy. Big aroma, very sweet and fruity.. Taste is yeasty with lots of bright fruit (bananas, cherries...) Too sweet for me, but certainly not a boring beer.

Looks like a glass of swamp water. Murky brown with little head. Nose is full and tempting. This is a glass of banana bread in a glass. Medium full body, alcohol hidden expertly. Very nice rendition. Reminds me of Hacker Pschorrs but better!
