Agent Provocateur is a strongly hopped beer - a hybrid of an IPA and a Belgian golden ale. Bright, colourful notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, grapefruit and lime) and spices give way to a solid, long bitter finish. This beer is an excellent aperitif and goes perfectly with spicy food. Not much going on here I’m afraid. I’m just getting "lager" in the aroma. Taste is smooth, slightly bitter and palate is quite silky. Not unpleasant but "provocateur" is a bit of an exageration.....

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with short lasting white head that leaves quite some lacing. Soft orange and apricot, cloves, minerals and light biscuits. Light sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied with dry feel.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at tiong’s tasting, thanks, 20160109) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had hops and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, Belgian style yeast, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A decent hop-forward Belgian style ale.
