Agent Provocateur is a strongly hopped beer - a hybrid of an IPA and a Belgian golden ale. Bright, colourful notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, grapefruit and lime) and spices give way to a solid, long bitter finish. This beer is an excellent aperitif and goes perfectly with spicy food. Tasted on tap in La capsule, a very good beer pub in Lille. Aroma is perfect, cascade is very present, amarillo is well balanced, on taste i will put 10 if Bitterness was longer... I have tasted in bottle too, but it’s not the same product, it’s very better on tap!

Found it in a beer shop in Paris. Lovely golden colour beer. Between blond and amber. Good lasting head. Good fruitiness on the nose with hop flowers. On the palate, pleasantly dry with a well balanced bitterness. Probably Cascade hops. Lots of fruits like grape fruits, lemons and pineapple. Also a hint of bergamot. Great complexity and very good length. At last a good beer in France, I’ll get a case tomorrow.

75cl bottle from the beer store in Cassel, where the brewery may end up some day. A dead ringer for Saison Dupont. Mixed hop aroma, big aromatic hopping, firmly tioned malt based - a delight to drink. of the best. A lesson in why to buy local, perhaps?

Tasted many times in France on draft and in bottles. At best this is an original beer marrying the spiciness and roundness of a belgian ale with the citrus character of American hops. At worst the Belgian character dominates and the hops are obscured leaving a good but less interesting Belgian style, hoppy beer. On draft this beer can be excellent and truly original defying style characterizations (it’s definitely not an IPA).

33cl bottle courtesy of steptin, in turn, courtesy of urbeer - thank you gentlemen! Deep golden color, medium thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of citrus, light pineapple. Taste has lots of citrus and pine boughs. Very nice stuff!

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013 Served in amazing glass, very classy. With the yeast pours a hazy amber with stable off white head. Fresh aroma with citrus notes and fresh yeast. Quite active carbonation but a lovely dry base. Good amount of bitterness and with that flavour. A classic blond but perfectly hopped. Good stuff. (Bottle at l’Academie de la Biere)

Dobre i ciekawe piwo. Nazwa prowokacyjna:) i polecam skosztować je.
