On tap at La Capsule Wonderful nose and body for this dunkel weissbier. A huge head with hints of passion fruits and chocolate in aftertaste. A great stuff!

37,5cl bottle, no bb, Geers. - Uncorks without a plop, pours a brackish wheaty brown. Basically drinks like an undecisive crossover between Dunkelweizen and Dubbel, offering not much estery fruitiness from either or fermentational depth. Instead: damp bready wheats, unbaked artisanal bakery bread crust, cocoa powder, the faintest inkling of raisin and green grape peel. Oddly unsatisfying for its abv toll. Has the hop fruitiness evaporated in more recent batches?

Pour out of 375 mL bottle, murky reddish brown pour with khaki colored head, purchased in Paris. Aroma brought notes of green banana, passionfruit, mango into some pineapple, some dark fruit, dried candied apricot, some slight caramel, toffee, vanilla, slight ginger notes. Taste was a mix of butterscotch, mango, pineapple, bitter fruits into some grass, herbal notes, slight candied fruit into a bit of yeast, finishing slightly bitter, slightly sweet.

375ml bottle from Pipetown Traders pours a watery amber with LOADS of soapy, off white head. Nose is unique, herbal, some wet sage, some bay leaf, malt, a little dried leaf, some mild grainy notes, some dried citrus peel. Flavor is very herbal, light malt sweetness, some earthy notes, a little cardboard, a little honey comb, some cream soda. Thin finish.

375ml bottle. Mahogany Brown with a high white head. The flavor is more tart, white wine, banana, spices, wheat. The taste is fruity vinous, light / medium body, grapes, green apples. A dry and spicy finish. No deeper flavors either at the beginning or end.

Bottle, 37.5cL. Home. A drak brown opaque beer with a medium off-white head ; medium retention ; wonderful label. Roasty and fruity aroma (dark fruits, citrus, litchi), resin, herbs. Medium dry bitter ; light sweet. Not really refreshing or warming. Autumn colors. Light to medium body, thin silky texture, watery, average carbonation, dry fruity bitter finish. Overall, another pleasant hoppy ale. Nevertheless, I’m a disappointed : I thought this beer would happier & more cheerful : warming, silky, less dry...

Hazy greenish brown. Tan head. Molasses, sugar cane, honey, white flowers, dates, a tinge of spearmint. Powerful yet soft and delicate. Long finish with litlle bitterness.

Dark brown body, off white head. Aroma has wheaty sweet malt, some fruits, yeast and some very green hops. Flavour is quite hoppy wheat bock and some dark chocolate. Palate is bit watery. Some hoppy bread in aftertaste.

Beerenberger (1567) - Fischer, Texas, USA - APR 10, 2015
On tap at Bangers - The aroma has a floral sweetness and a hint of wheat. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a lasting white head and little lacing. The taste is much like the nose - floral sweetness and straw. Nice combination. Medium-light body crisp carbonation. Overall, an interesting variation on a wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2015 The aroma is amazingly fruity: green mangoes, passionfruit, pineapple, and floral hops overpower just about everything else for an immensely addictive nose. There’s some bread, barley, and mineraly wheat notes. The taste is moderately bitter, with some fresh, fruity sweetness and citrusy tartness, for a dry finish. Hard to drink it, though, because I don’t want the aroma to go away. Update: had this again, from a bottle. Nowhere near as delicious. A much more muted, pedestrian aroma with more pronounced grain and less mango/passionfruit. More bitter, less fruity taste. I hate to let this second try define my rating, but the first, too-good-to-be-true beer I had was only allegedly Cd’O. The second one was most certainly it.
