CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 29, 2007
(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on May 26, 2007. Pours a thin, white creamy head with a deep copper body. Nose of mild malts and a tad bready. The flavour is crisp, though I doubt the server’s claim that this is a weizen bock. Traditional bocks of this style are between 9-14 ABV and this one is only a 5.7 - in addition, the wheat flavour doesn’t make itself terrible apparent. Its on the lighter side but is a nicely balanced lager none the less. I would be able to drink this regularly.
