An amber sligthly hazy beer with a good head, though it disappears quite quick. It has a very nice fruity bitter-sweet aroma, do I detect a little orange? The flavor is a nice bitterness right from the start, no sweetness at all. It is a nice bitterness more like an English IPA than an American - different hop. The bitterness lingers a long time and turns almost woody at last. A very nice beer, that I definately will try again.

Sweeter than any IPA I’ve ever tried. A nice copper color, Sweet malty nose. Very light feel in the mouth, hops is present at the tail end. Sweet aftertaste stays a while.

Bottled. A nice orange gold coloured beer with no head and little carbonation. The aroma is really hoppy, citrus notes especially oranges shine out. The taste too has good hop qualities and is quite thick in the mouth. There is a little off-putting sulphorous note hidden in there, but for a 4% hoppy British beer it’s really good.

I found this one in a little liquor store in England, seems pretty common though. Very hoppy aroma, not too much hops in the flavor though. Very drinkable Ipa, not too watery or fruity.

Slight sediment in bottle but not sure if it was BC or just rough filtered. Amber gold with moderate head, predominantly hoppy nose, malty caramel sweet body with some hop flavour and bitterness and a hoppy finish.

Good ’normal’ bitter from the Fraoch boys. Must have been hard to resist throwing in handfuls of buttercups or hogweed. 355ml bottle. Spare diminishing head. Clear (filtered) amber body with mild carbonation. Resiny hop aroma with biscuity malt. Medium oily mouthfeel with fairly bitter hop finish.
Pleasant for a British IPA. Those used to the American version will probably be disappointed at the lack of strong hop flavour
