Draught at Agro Café, Granville Island Hazy amber color; creamy head, a thin layer is very persistent. Light caramel and apple aroma, then light malt; simple. The flavor is better: malt, caramel and toffee in equal proportions, strong bitterness, with final toastiness; maybe a bit too dry and bitter at the end.. Quite good.

Pours a cloudy orange-yellow with a nice head & some lacing. I could hardly detect an aroma. Taste is full of hops! Sourish and wheaty notes, as well. Body is thick and creamy, overall I thought it was very interesting and I liked the opping. Not bad! Sampled at the GCBF.

Chill hazed rich copper-coloured beer with a large creamy off-white head. Aroma is very malty and also shows nice lemon citrus notes and faint fruit/berry esters as well. Very well-hopped showing nice spicy character. Flavour is also quite citrusy and malty with a lasting bitterness. Well-balanced brew.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2005 Hazy amber colour with rocky, slightly caramel-coloured head. Very toasty - slightly astringent actually - body. Slightly nutty. Body sort of thin - sadly, a one-dimensional beer, very dry and dusty.
