Tap at Alibi Room. Deep brown beer with a thin tan head. Aroma is lightly cocoaish. A bit of herbal character and even a kiss of licorice. A light cocoaish flavour with a bit of toasted, herbal graininess. Pretty solid porter really.

Sample at Hopapalooza II. Pours a solid brown with a scant tan head. Aroma is cocoa, licorice, roasted malt. Flavour remains chocolate, mild roast. Finish is vibrant and decent. Good for style.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours dark brown / black. Aroma of faint roasted malt. Flavour of stronger roasted malt, maybe some coffee. Fairly standard porter.

Black,small lasting brown head.Brown sugar/mocha nose. Light pleasant roast profile, good bitterness in finish. GOOD

(Draught) Sampled at TiggMTL’s wedding reception at the Alibi Room. Good sour porter nose. Very smooth. Great amber head with a opaque, deep brown body. Creamy, whipped cream and coffee. Bitter cocoa. Fun anise mid-palate. Very delightful. 7/4/8/4/15
