COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In honour of our hopyards, this is a proper India Pale Ale at a drinkable alcohol level. A pale amber malt body emphasizes munich and caramel malts, with enough sweetness to hold up the rather large volumes of fresh Cascade and Golding hops. Spicy, aromatic, and bitter, this is a quenching and lively beer. Order an Insurrection!

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of piney hops, buttery caramel and light caramel backing. Flavour is quite mild, with lush piney, buttery hops and a delicate caramel malt backing. Easy to drink and light on the palate, but with very pleasant flavours. Solid.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours clear golden yellow with a lasting creamy head. Aroma has shitloads of pine and a bit of resin. Flavour is tons of pine, buttery hops, almost fungal, and some malt backing. Pleasant palate, lightly bitter and medium bodied.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color; creamy head. The aromatic hops have a fair presence in this dry Pale Ale; there is also a light aroma of apples; the flavor is quite ordinary. Strong bitterness. Pleasant but without excitement.
