On tap @Hops, black with a thin head, caramel and nutmeg aroma, sweet upfront, thin mouth feel with a light spice/hop bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Hops in New West. Dark, sweet, fruity and malty. Body is thin. finish is sweet. A bit too sweet for a thin-bodied beer. 3.4.

Dark brown color, small creamy head. The aroma is lightly spicy/minty. Caramel flavor, with moderate sweetness, and loads of nutmeg; correct bitterness. Funny beer; the underlying Ale is not bad. At least nutmeg is better than cinnamon. Decent.

Opaque brown,huge lasting beige head.Light raisin aroma.Starts lightly malty, then nothing but alcohol

Opaque copper colour with lasting creamy white head. Mild fruity hop nose with slight malt undertones. Mild bitter hop taste with slight bitter alcohol finish.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2005 Cloudy light brown. Sweet, chocolatey aroma with mandarin, black cherry, toffee. Body is oily. Rich, slightly oily body. Sweet, fruity, toffeeish flavour with notes of alcohol in the finish.

Cloudy brown beer with a thin white head. Aroma is completely unlike anything I’ve ever had. Pine/juniper combined with lemon and grapefruit citrus. Oily and vineous texture. Flavour shows loads of lemon, warm baking spices, yeasty and a spicy citrusy finish. Very tasty... I need more.
