Appearance: amber coppers color. Little head, of ivory color, few persistent. Aroma: sweet caramel, medium toasty malty, honey and fruity. Fruits such as ripe peaches, red apples and quinces. Slight floral hoppy. Flavor: toasty malty, mainly caramels malts, very sweet and candy. Strong reminiscences of honey; fruitiness similar at aroma. Peaches, quince, grapefruits, ripe apples and peel orange. Candy start that progress in a light and persistent hoppyness finish. Herby hoppy. Something unbalanced for the intensive caramelized. Palate: light body, semi-oily texture. Low carbonation. Unbalanced, but nice caramelized. Advisable, very better than one year ago.

No head and almost no carbonation. Colour is closer to a red ale rather than a Golden ale. Weak aroma with touches of caramel and fruit. On palate it impressed me because of its sweetness. It almost felt like a soft drink but after a few minutes it became more solid, with cereal, toasted caramel, and a tiny citric touch. Pleasant to drink, but I would appreciate a little more strength on it.

Slightly hazy, dark orange body with poor looking head. Fruity aroma (rock melon?) and orange, different to the Chilean lagers I have tried to date but not better.

Bottle, copper with a large foamy off white head. A toasted malt aroma with just a touch of hops, but very plain. The malty flavour is so grainy to the point of being unbearable, the only other thing coming through being a metallicness. An unsavouryness to it all.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2007 (in bottle, gift of brewery general manager). Aroma to grass, something alcoholic. It has a dark red color, little foam and very fast head. Slight flavor to caramel, with something of acidity. In paladar is a little fizzy, thin and sticky. With a end not so bitter. Without a doubt, surpassed by the "Porter" of Crater.

Clear copper colored body crowned with a medium beige and creamy head. Aroma was infected but still some fruitness was present, mostly of apples with hints of malts, cereal and caramel. Flavor was watery, fruity but mediocre.

Pours a clear, sparkling copper color. Head is big, off-white and frothy. It diminishes quickly into a thin lacing. Aroma is yeasty with dough, cardboard and grass. Clear notes of caramelized apples, but not really an enticing smell. Flavor is sweet with no bitterness at all. I found hints of apples and oranges but with a yeasty thingy, slightly unpleasant. Watery taste and flavorless finish. Texture is watery with a high carbonation. Short finish, cider-like aftertaste. Light bodied. A very mediocre golden ale with blatant signs of infection.

Sampled at the "2° Festival de la Cerveza", in Malloco (4th November, 2006)
