1.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Nearly undrinkable, sadly. The bottle states that the beer is well hopped without any bitterness, but I found a prolonged bitter finish, like synthetic chemicals, that really ruins any possibility of appreciating this ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"Hmmm...another interesting brew from these guys. What at first is pretty boring opens up to some cool layers of citrus hops, and chocolate/biscuity/caramel malts. Not too shabby. Would love to try super fresh."

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: Can. It pours, well, amber. Small off white head. Slight caramel and bread in the nose. Straight forward caramel, toasted bread, slight earthy hops, and a lingering bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied. Straight forward and exactly what it should be.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear amber with a big white head and great lacing. Bready, caramelly, lightly grassy, somewhat hoppy, and doughy aroma. Taste is grassy, lemons, bready, straw, and malty - pretty clean. Light body with high carbonation. Decent amber.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet Carmel malty aroma. Poured from a can courtesy ( or not) from christpuncher. Off white head and red color. Taste is hoppy and somewhat fruity but a strong "red" taste. Thought it wouldn't be good and I didn't mind it at all

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour from a 12oz can. Hazy amber brew with white heead. Aroma of floral hops, a little caramel. Taste is lightly sweet with a growing hops presence toward the middle of the swallow. Ever so lightly bitter hops with nice floral overtone through to the finish. A little woody late in the swallow and caramel sweetness throughout. Soft carbonation gives it a pleasantly quaffable palate. This is good and extremely refreshing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz can from Binny’s in Buffalo Grove. Pours an unclear amber with a tan head leaving streaky lacing. Aroma has berrys, heavy malt and sweet fruits. Taste is of sweet caramelly malts, some sweet fruit, some bread and a bit of earthiness. Brown sugar kicks in further down. Medium bodied and fairly thick. Finishes sweet and fruity. Shrug, not high expectations, and those were met. 13.2

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, biscuit, toast, light roast, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/floral hops and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, biscuit, light roast, floral, grass, slight pine, and floral/toasted earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, citrus zest, caramel, toast, biscuit, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and solid robustness of citrus/floral hops and dark/bready malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is ok. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a pretty solid amber ale. Good balance and solid robustness of citrus/floral hops and dark/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering.
