COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delightfully floral American style Amber Ale displays a wonderful balance while still maintaining a profound hoppy goodness. We load this beer with a ridiculous and obscene amount of West Coast hops that are added late in the boil resulting in a hoppy beer without any bitterness.

12oz can 12/17/12 (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-42° in English Pint-Pours a hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, hops, and roses. Taste of hops, malt, and grains. This medium bodied brew is not too bad.

Mild aroma and no head. The flavor is a little bit bitter/sour, but not in the good way. Some orange and spices. Not very smooth.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Can. Oh man, this is awful. Stale buttered popcorn smell, very abrasive bite that has a little bit of sour overtones - drain pour.

Pours an amber color and leaves a white head. Has strong citrus taste from the hops much like mild IPA. Almost suprising for an amber ale. Overall, a decent beer. Great if you want something with a little bit of a bite but not as powerfull as an IPA.

I picked up a sixer of this because the description led me to believe it was hoppy. It was not. Total waste of $9. Reddish amber color, decent lace, looks pretty good. The smell is malts and buttered popcorn, uh-oh. The flavor was more malts dripping with butter. I’m no brewer but I’ve been told this buttered popcorn flavor is diacetyl and I can’t stand it. I’d try this again on tap but I won’t be buying any more cans, yuck. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 09-21-2011 16:26:08

Pours an amber caramel mixed color with a floral aroma. Taste is hop filled, a lot for an amber style beer. The taste is similar to a mild IPA. Overall a decent beer but more of a hoppy beer than I like especially for an amber.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight beige? head. Sweet roast malt aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is roast caramel (comes across almost like a brown ale) with some arguable hop bitter. Have no idea what these folks think an obscene amount is, but it doesn’t match mine. Pretty dull drink, tho arguably the flavors are not weak.

Can to pint. Looks solid; a semi-transparent burnt-orange with thin white lacing. Smells sweet and malty. Tastes like it smells with some hoppiness too. Average on the palate. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Pours cloudy amber with a decent off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a floral caramel malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish. A bit thin.
