4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It is a smooth amber. The malts hit you first and the hops kick in just enough to let you know they are there. A nice amber color the scent was there but not overbearing

Not as hoppy as it claims. But a nice toasty and malty west coastish red ale.

12oz can in an English pint. Pours amber with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops plus a little bit of caramel and pale malts. Flavor the same with a nice amount of hops for the style. Average texture. Not a bad beer.

I popped the can open and beer and foam came flying out. Not sure if it was user error or not... Anyway, lots of foam on a cloudy, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is a dull citrus smell with some hay thrown in.
The taste has a good malt backbone with only a mild sweetness. Pine bitterness to end. Enjoyable.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Besides the exploding can, I thought this was a fine drink.
