COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Ale is our take on a classic Belgian Wit Beer. To make this beer unique, we add un-malted wheat, rolled oats, two varieties of classic European hops, chamomile, curacao orange peel, coriander, grains of paradise, and a rare yeast strain from the Old Country. This is a beer that can be enjoyed year round. Cheers!

"Would be a pretty standard boring wit if not for the very nice addition of camomile. I admit Im a sucker for this flowery goodness, so Im probably scoring a bit high, but so be it :)"

12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours hazy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, chamomile, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, chamomile, pepper, clove, wheat, oats, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, orange peel, coriander, chamomile, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant flavors with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with very solid robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. No watery feeling at all in the flavors. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice and pleasant witbier. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Very slightly hazy golden with very small white head. Aroma is chamomile, light body, medium carbonation, and some medium bubble lacing. Taste is chamomile, some coriander, some green apple, and hints of orange peel. Easy to drink, different, but very little richness.

Draft sample. Hazy yellow pour. Aroma is apples, spice, cinnamon. Taste is like cinnamon apple sauce. Just lots of green apple in this one. Makes it slightly tart. Fairly crisp and refreshing. But not what Id expect from the style.

12 oz. can. Pours a thinnish, poorly retained white head with slight lacing, over a hazy yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is citrus, honey, chamomile, herbs....taste is lightly sweet, with honey tones, chamomile, hints of citrus, minimal hop bitterness.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, light acid. The adjunct spices were used with a heavy hand in this light refreshing style and are overly dominant. They need to be cut back and coriander, which is classic added. BJCP 7/3/12/4/6

Pint on tap poured in a snifter. Beer had a pretty straw-golden color with a white head that dissipated QUICKLY. First sniffs were deceiving as the Belgian yeast dominated the problems. Then, sour milk. Sip. Belgian yeast. Low spiciness... sip... sour milk. really unpleasant.

Can. Hazy pale gold with a white head. Aroma of lemon zest / oil, calcium, pepper, herbs, phenols; fainter notes of potpourri / soap. Medium-light body, acidic, quenching, semi-sweet, medium-low bitterness. Carbonic, phenolic, juicy, though a little plastic-like and finishes soapy. Body and sugar and bitterness and acidity align well.

There is too much funky flavor that does not work to well. It's malty and really bubbly, it's slightly tart with some flavor of citrus and wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can 355ml @ bergstaden
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, citrus and something that reminds me of danish rice porridge and hint of coriander. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a citrus fruity, rice porridge and slightly dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
