COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Ale is our take on a classic Belgian Wit Beer. To make this beer unique, we add un-malted wheat, rolled oats, two varieties of classic European hops, chamomile, curacao orange peel, coriander, grains of paradise, and a rare yeast strain from the Old Country. This is a beer that can be enjoyed year round. Cheers!

Can. Hazy pale gold with a white head. Aroma of lemon zest / oil, calcium, pepper, herbs, phenols; fainter notes of potpourri / soap. Medium-light body, acidic, quenching, semi-sweet, medium-low bitterness. Carbonic, phenolic, juicy, though a little plastic-like and finishes soapy. Body and sugar and bitterness and acidity align well.

There is too much funky flavor that does not work to well. It's malty and really bubbly, it's slightly tart with some flavor of citrus and wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can 355ml @ bergstaden
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, citrus and something that reminds me of danish rice porridge and hint of coriander. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a citrus fruity, rice porridge and slightly dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

crazy mountain lava lake wit Can. It’s an unclear, pale golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma has a touch of bubblegum and cinnamon, reminding me of Norwegian style rice porridge. There’s a faint touch of coriander and lemon, with some orange, flower and cinnamon. Suspect the cinnamon is the grains of paradise. Medium body, semi-dry, and with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. A rather unusual one, don’t know if I like it or not, so I ended up somewhere in between. 140623

Strange. It was quite sour and like if it was a Shandy beer. VEry refreshing but also quite sweet in aroma there.

From a can. This starts with a sweet lime aroma, and pours a slightly hazy pale amber with a quickly fading white head. There’s a strange lime note that comes through on the flavor as well as a muddle of spices. The lime note lingers through the finish as well. Not terrible, but I will not be looking for this one again.

12 oz can from Evergreen Discount. Golden orange and pretty clear appearce with a disspating, lacy white head. Aroma of wheat malts, citrus zest, tart fruit, herbs, spices, pepper and yeast. Similar flavor, spicy, zesty and bittersweet. Light body with a crisp feel. Not awful, but perhaps overdone with the spices.

Can from Zipp’s Liquors in MSP. Yeasty nose with a lotta herbs. Pale blonde color, big fluffy white head. Thin fruit and a melange of spices (hard to distinguish them). Thin body. The basic wit character and body seem too weak to stand up to the load of spices.

12oz can into a big elm pint can glass. Pours a very cloudy pale yellow with some sunshine. Head is light, fluffy, off whie and about 3-4cm, plenty of lacing. Aroma is wheat, green sour patch kids, orange spice, sour green apple, honey, orange peel, hoppy and pleasant. Taste is orange, wheat grass, light honey, banana, frosty iced sour lemonade, and hoppy, the hop kick comes up front and in the end, punchy. Livey carbination on this one, drinkability is easy and fun. This is summer brew, but still goes down well in the dead of winter. Refreshing, quaffable, and commendable. Good canned brew.
