COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We utilize two types of American hops in such a way that we put the flavor of these hops center stage and let their bitterness fade into the background. The hop-forward character of this Pale Ale shines through in the unique, tropical fruit flavor of two American hop varieties. Enjoy this offering with a fresh approach to how a Pale Ale expresses its inner hoppiness.

Tannish orange and mostly clear with a touch of haze, 1/2 finger head and ok lace. Aroma is nice, plenty of citrus hops and pungent malts. Flavor is heavily malty, bread, caramel malt, biscuit, along with a fair hoppiness that leaves a fairly bitter aftertaste. Body is slightly watery and under-carbonated. Primarily I think it needs more carbonation, but otherwise isn’t a bad beer at all.

Can leftover from RAT XIII. Pours a light to hazy orange with big white head. Aroma is stale beer, faded hops, light roast malt. Taste is cardboard, overpowering malt and hop residue. I would have said this was old except other reviews seem to back up this taste.

Sample @ Nobi, draft .. . light gold .. . mildly sweet .. . mild mouth .. . a very simple pale ale, not nearly enough bitterness for a pale ale .. . . warms beds: getting out of a warm bed and going to a open door or window has been the death of multitudes.

Sort of an orange color with a white head. Nose is bland. Some orange peel, light cardboard, sweet bread, and some caramel. Lightly grassy and floral. There’s some sweet fruit and citrus to the flavor. Light bitterness of grass, pine, and orange peel. Sweet caramel and bread, notes of cardboard, and some floral hops. Not awful, just not a very good pale ale.

A decent pale ale though not particularly memorable. Light appearance with a medium body, subtle citrus aroma and a somewhat stale aftertaste of cardboard. Jess brought this back from CO in spring, 2013.

Aroma is pine and not much else. The flavor is light grapefruit, caramel malts and a tart finish.

12 oz. can pours a clear copper color with moderate off-white head and a bit of lacing. Aroma has citrus and tropical fruits plus some caramel malts. Taste is initially sweet with a short, slightly bitter finish. Body is medium with average carbonation for the style. Good but far from great.

From can into glass. Pours dark amber, darker than expected for a plain old pale ale. Hops are subdued, not much citrus. Some bitterness on the finish, malt is darker and sweeter than I like.

Sampled on tap at Crazy Mountain on 12/27/12. Pours a copper color with white head. Citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit, hoppy, crisp flavors.

Orange med dragning åt koppar med ett lättare vitt skum. Doft av humle i for av viss blommighet och tallbarr. Maltsötma och grape/tropisk frukt humlighet i bra kombination. Passade bra till BBQ.
