COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We utilize two types of American hops in such a way that we put the flavor of these hops center stage and let their bitterness fade into the background. The hop-forward character of this Pale Ale shines through in the unique, tropical fruit flavor of two American hop varieties. Enjoy this offering with a fresh approach to how a Pale Ale expresses its inner hoppiness.

Pours a hazy orangish-copper from the can with a thin off-white lace of a head and light lacing. Aroma of pale malt and slight pine hop. Taste follows, really bready and malty. Decent but a lot better APAs out there.

Can. Amber orange pour with a small head. Some tropical fruit, but very astringent and unbalanced. Not very good.

Gold pour with a nose of tropical fruits, papaya, mango and pineapple. Nice bitter taste with a little earthiness to the fruit taste. Long bitter finish.

I had this from a can while visiting Steamboat. The first can was warmer as it was unchilled on my walk home, it had a nice aroma of hops. The second can I’m having now is cooler and loses lots of the aroma. The bitterness seems a bit unbalanced and lingers on the tongue. This is an okay beer but I think it needs more malt body to balance it.

Brown bodied and a light tan head. Dark notes, nutty, croissant, classic hops. Moderate bitterness although it drinks easily. Not the best looking, best smelling or best tasting but a solid brew overall, well balanced. (12oz can on Florida trip)

Can. Pours amber, no head. Heavy on the malt and light on hops. I could only slightly detect citrus notes. Not much of a finish. Not bad, but not good.

2012 Twin Cities Beer Festival. Brown. Decent hop aroma and citrus hop flavor with some malt, but hops are up front. Somewhat astringent. Much better than the IPA.

Can. Pours a cloudy copper with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop and pine. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet hop and grapefruit and lingerig dry finish. A good APA from Crazy Mountain.

Sampled in a can. A nice brew. Decent hop levels. Worth a try and priced nicely to enjoy.

Pour out of 12 oz can, clear orange pour with white head, aroma has notes of pine, grass, earth, some slight floral and spicy notes, buttery, caramel notes, with a hint of grain and husky vanilla notes. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, sour grain, some slight buttery notes but not in a bad way, vanilla, some spice, grass and lots of honey, floral notes, finishing fairly spicy, sweet. Interesting for sure.
