4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz can at home. Pours a honey gold with minimum head and lacing. Nose is fruit, bread and (good) funk. Taste is mellow and recapitulates the nose, with a little malt at the end. Mouthfeel is rich and the finish lingers nicely. If you are an IPA person, as I am, you will like this.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can at home, pre Super Bowl 50. Pretty orangey amber pour with a big white head. Bready sweet malts on the nose. Lots of jammy fruits, notes of cooked berries, orange marmalade, piney hops. Bitter finish. Fuller bodied. Basic but good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can sample at a tasting at Maxís place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, some tropical fruits and sweet fruits. Bitterish flavor with notes of citrus, a bit piney and grassy. Light to medium-bodied.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tasted on 1/27/16 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Frugal. Pours hazy orange copper with a thick off-white head that slowly recedes to average lace, sticking to the sides of the glass. The nose is primarily toasted cereal malt with just a hint of herbal hops poking through. The flavor is herbal bitterness up front moving to a very light yeasty note, and finishing with the same toasted cereal from the nose. The body is medium, somewhat sticky, with lively carbonation, and a medium malty and herbal bitter finish. Very easy to drink, but not terribly exciting or balanced.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and soft malt aroma. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Good brew.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can in bed on NYE/NYD. Start as you mean to go on. Pretty blue tin from Nacka Forum Systembologet pouring peachy and opaque beneath a silken white mousse. Aroma comprises battered sausage, honey and lemon lozenges, not much. But it is semi-frozen and straight off M&Dís patio. More interesting flavour with a deeper nuttiness than expected underscoring sherbet, peach iced tea and nectarine. Soapy, floral and medium bitter to finish. Decent orange and blackcurrant pastille notes. Too much soggy Crystal but perfectly decent.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazey orange-gold in color, topped with a pale tan head. Looks okay so far.
Something here smells a bit off-style. I know there are two hops used, but canít recall which ones, but itís a fermenting fruit meets vegetal character (not cooked cabbage, thankfully) and stand out immediately. Thankfully thereís nice notes of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) underneath the dominant character and I know thatís what the folks like in their pale ales these days, so I canít knock that. Yeasty, and a bit sweet.
More yeast on the first sip, along with some mint and other (oily) hop character, but nothing approaching a classic pale ale or even the "new" light and tropical fruity-dominated hops character. Nope, this one is muddled and much different. Biscuit malt notes (great!) underscore the dominant and confusing hop profile, along with some decent bitterness to carry that dry and biscuity malt.
Drinkability is not bad; At 6% this one certainly drinks lighter, itís just that I canít where Iíd take the opportunity to drink very much of it in the first place.
I hate to dog any beer --especially one which may be past its prime-- but based on this single go-round I wouldnít recommend this one.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 ounce bottle. Malty fruity heavy nose. Really not liking this. I thought the ESB was much better. Bit of a mess.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark amber color, frothy white 2" head, lace cobwebs. Taste is strong caramel malt that grows into a lightly carbonated swallow, followed by lightly fruit and then minimal hops. Very well balanced, well beyond simple, overall, a solid light brew.
