We utilize two types of American hops in such a way that we put the flavor of these hops center stage and let their bitterness fade into the background. The hop-forward character of this Pale Ale shines through in the unique, tropical fruit flavor of two American hop varieties. Enjoy this offering with a fresh approach to how a Pale Ale expresses its inner hoppiness.

This is an extremely flavorful and drinkable beer. By far my favorite offering so far from Crazy Mountain. It is light on the hops and has a tinge of fruit on the palate. The aroma is a striking as the flavor.

355ml can kindly shared by djoeye. A patchy layer on top of a cloudy apricot coloured body. Brown malts and dried fruity nose. Nice fruit hoppy taste with caramel malts beneath. Bittersweet citrus peels towards the finish. Well rounded and well bodied. Medium bodied. Tasty with fine session qualities (Session with Finn and djoeye at Bokhuset, Tromsø 10.09.2014)

Slightly stripy light amber hazy body. Warm off white head. The whole pine forest to the nose, apricot, fruits, very fresh fruity inviting scents. Taste; solid pine forest, resin, oil, butter, nuts, hops, bitter bread-juice, lemon, lots of taste aspects. Good body. Finish; roasted malts, resin, citrus peel, good finish. Overall too small can for the arctic trio. Moreish stuff. [355ml can 5.7%abv° BB3KBE-693 T@Session w Finn&Rune]

Serving: Can. It pours a light amber color. The nose has bits of earthy hops, some cracker, a little caramel malt, and slight florals as it starts to warm. Fairly even balance between hops and malt in this brew, but not as much hoppiness as I was hoping. Flavor follows the nose. Medium finish.

Blommiga och fruktiga armotoner, ganska ljus i färgen. Ingen öl som sticker ut på nåt sätt, bra pizzaöl.

35,5cl can from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Doesn’t feel very fresh more like and old IPA. Quite hoppy aroma, but slightly unpleasant with an un-fresh feel, caramel. some fruits and notes of pine and citrus. Fairly sweet with some slightly unpleasant flavours and a bitter finish. Sweet and not very refreshing, but still drinkable.

Can from Systembolaget. Clear dark golden body, small white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, faint hops. Taste is sweet malty with a heavy bitterness, not really the fruity hop taste the text promises with it’s "two different american hops". To be honest it’s quite boring. An APA needs more than a sweet malt taste and strong bitterness to impress. Bitterness is long, while the aftertaste has some faint notes of pine. Disappointed.

At a tasting, thanks troubles, small bubbly head, a little hazy and a touch pale orange colour, aroma of carambola and peach with some mineral notes, flavour of peach, herbal tea and tobacco. Nice and easy.

355ml can poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is a slightly cloudy amber colored with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of lemon zest, pineapple, and orange peels. Flavours of lemon zest, pineapple, grapefruit and a hint of caramel. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, soft texture and average carbonation. Overall a decent APA on the fruitier side of the scale, for my taste slightly lacking in malts and bitterness.
