One of the best offerings from Crazy Mountain. Coffee all the way, medium bodied and absolutely delicious. A likely staple for Crazy Mountain moving forward.

0.355l can. Itís definitely darker than cola brown on the pour this one and on top, at first a really lovely looking deep chocolate brown head that quickly fades in to a thin brown film that clings to the sides if the glass. Smells chocolaty, lots of cold coffee and itís quite on the roasty side for sure. Brown burnt sugar and cold coffee. Nuts and hints of mocha. Like it. Like how it tastes also. It has a really present acidity. Coffee acidity or roasted malts acidity, not sure but itís definitely there. As is thin chocolate, bitter cold coffee. Itís a little thin perhaps, not watery but not particularly full-bodied and soft of the prickling carbonation. All in all a nice coffee stout. 13.09.2015

35,5 cl can from Vinmonopolet. Pours pitch black with a small beige head. Aromas of roasted coffee, licorice and malt. Taste is bitter with a little sourness to it. Oily texture. Mighty fine brew.

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. ABV is 5.9%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Strong aroma of coffee, also roast malts, hints of molasses, tar, ashes and liquorice. Moderate carbonation. The flavour has notes of strong coffee, roast malts, liquorice and bittering hops. A pretty solid brew, but the coffee is a bit more dominant than I prefer. Still, I bought a "coffee stout", so I donít complain.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dense, light brown head. Roasty nose, more malt roastiness than actually coffee aroma. Medium body, very dry roastiness on your palate, but again the actual coffee notes are very downplayed. Dry and malt bitter finish. If it didnít have coffee on the can I could have believed it to be just a well roasted Stout. But easygoing and far from bad. 090516

It starts pretty good... Nice black liquid with off white lacy head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee... the taste, though is slightly disapointing, anonimous and flat. Not bad, but nothing to recommend.

Pours a very black coffee color. I poured very aggressively, and got a very late forming overflowing head so canít accurately describe the head. But there is retention and lacing, but that could be from overflow.

Aroma is nutty and dark chocolate. Dark roasted malts. Iím not getting g a lot of coffee. I smell some dark fruits.

Taste is se!mi bitter. I taste ash, dark chocolate. Iím not getting a lot of coffee. A little smokey. A little burnt taste.

Mouthfeel is watery, and lighter than many stouts. Itís pretty drinkable however.

Overall, itís not so great. Thereís a lack of coffee. While it may taste alright, but its lacking the most important part of a coffee stout, coffee. I would neither buy again, nor recommend.
