One of the best offerings from Crazy Mountain. Coffee all the way, medium bodied and absolutely delicious. A likely staple for Crazy Mountain moving forward.

Draft poured jet black w/ creamy dark tan head and excellent lacing. Big coffee aroma. Bold coffee taste along with a good roasted malt level. Fantastic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Corti Bros., Sacramento. Pours black with a rocky tan head and a strong coffee aroma. There is a medium-bodied treacle and coffee flavor with a dry finish.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is black (almost opaque, flashlight tested). Aroma is moderately malty (coffee, roasted grain, Oreo cookie, dark chocolate), lightly hoppy (grapefruit, flowers), with a note of vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Among the better offerings I’ve had from this brewery (Hookiebobb being the other decent one)...pleasant coffee aroma is strong without obscuring the malt. The mouthfeel isn’t that great, but the flavor profile is nicely balanced. Easy to like.

Tap @ Crazy Mountain. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Roasty malty, toffee, burnt sugar, earthy aroma. Burnt caramel, chocolate, a little milky, roasted malty, earthy, fairly dry flavor.

Tap at Crazy Mountain Brewing. Color is black and more black. Carbonation is good with a big thick brown head. Aroma is deeply roasted malt with a light coffee note. It has a full body that gives a crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes in rich and roasted with some nice coffee notes and just a hint of hops. After taste is dry with a good bitterness. Overall its a good stout.
