24 oz can share thanks to Homer 00000011 00000010 00000001. Fairly sweet, adjuncts - corny, mild alcohol. Very clear, very pale orange, minimal off white head. Lots of cornyness, light metallic notes, lightly astringent, alcohol warmth, not smooth, meh.

If they rated the Crazy Stallion canís artwork design it might have gotten a higher score. But I had never tried it before, and I gave it a shot. The can stated It came out of Lacrosse WI. Ok then. I thought it would be ok. (If you are looking for a cheap good American beer, stay with Pabst Blue Ribbon.) The can states "Hornell Brewing Company", copy righted Ferolito, Vultaggio and Sons. F-V and Sons is none other than Arizona Beverage Co. Wikipedia acknowledges the association. Believe it or not, Arizona Bev Co is out of Woodbury NY. I generally have nothing bad to say about Arizona Beverages ... except for Crazy Stallion. According to the Web, Hornell Brewing Company used to hail from...Hornell NY. It closed in 1964. Today Bloomsberg lists it as coming from Woodbury NY. Not Lacrosse.
So I feel ill used. Nice snappy Arizona Bev Co designed label, supposed WI origin, crap Woodbury NY beer. IF you want a decent moderate cost NY beer, stick with the Saranac brand, produced by the West End (aka Matt) Brewing Co, of Utica NY. Or for a pricier offering, Ommegang out of Cooperstown. But, there are many more.

24oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours a nice gold with a thick, persistent white head. Pretty good looking. Aroma is sweet corn, a bit metallic, and a bit of bread and grass. Taste is a nice, if overly sweet, full-flavored lager. Would be looking for a malt liquor with a bit higher ABV if I was going to put up with something this sweet. But definitely a lot more flavor going for it than most macro lagers on the market.

24oz can thanks to my beer buddy cheap. Typical Malt Liquor, not as high as abv as one would think. Sweet and grassy taste, as cheap would say "rude" taste in the buds. "It is what it is!"

Can, thanks to The Alum. Seriously one of the better malt likkas out there. Poured crisp and clean, with a minimum amout of corn in the aroma or flavor. Drank good, and went down very easy. No harsh flavors. Honestly, kind of tasty for a low-flavor brew.

Richmond 20th. Beer 3000. Thank you Drake for bringing back the memories of taking a ride on the Crazy Horse. Can. Aroma is lightly of sweet corn. Miss the drunken Indian on the bottle. Flavor is corn, not much else. Having said that, this is about as good as you can get for a malt liquor. Cheers to everyone who has joined me and helped along the way over the past decade.
