3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from brewery” pours a clear lush deep copper with red highlights. A decent sticky 2 finger cap and moderate carbonation. Pungent aroma of toasty-sweet malts over the earthy notes of noble hops clean malty nose to it. Flavour is intense but on target for the Altbier style – big chewy toasty bready malts in front in remarkable balance with the woody/herbal noble hop bite, clean toasty-nutty finish with increasing bittering to a beautiful well balanced finale and light hop aftertaste. A flavourful, robust, easy drinking German amber ale, hard to fault that. This is probably the best commercial Altbier in Canada as good or better than German commercial Alts. Another solid offering from Creemore who keep me coming back.

Can, Mulmur, ON, Canada via LCBO iced tea appearance. Thin head. Metallic caramel aroma. Sweet, some sharpness. Not really for me.

Another sad visit to my local LCBO & the only thing I haven’t tried is this CreeMolsonCoors offering. It’s decent & nice -- like a visit to granny’s house! -- & i like it fine enough: sparkling mouthfeel & crisp finish make this enjoyable. Still, im not a big fan of their heavy spring water & honestly don’t find a lot of nuance & diversity in their stable.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Another quality brew form one of the premier Craft Brewers in Canada (IMHO). Different can then what is pictured, but I believe it is the same brew.
Drank directly from the tall can.
Smells a little too hoppy. A little off putting
Pours a caramel colour.
Taste is similar to Creemore Kellerbier, but with more of a hop taste. It is present, and just at the point that it is offensive. Small aftertaste
Good amount of carbonation
Overall I was very impressed with this brew. I will be puchasing again, but not before the Kellerbier or the Urbock.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Just another solid beer from this great brewery that has to get tagged as a major due to ownership. Creemore’s beers share nothing with their "parents"
Altbier is a great fall beer tasty full and rich. Not a beer for a hot day although that would still be OK.
A darker ale with some residual hoppiness. Love it

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
473ml tallboy. Poured a generous amount of creamy off-white head. Good lacing and retention. Has a dark coppery appearance. Aromas of wheats and grains are there, not too offensive. Flavours are all over, good balance of hops and malts, nutty, a bit yeasty. Some bitterness on the palate. Not bad.

Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de céréales en arrière goût. (Rating #5948)

Lots of head when poured into an Altbier. Very hoppy scent. Nice rusty brownish colour. Lots of bubbly carbonation.Bitter at first with a very sweet finish. Bit of nuts in there. Very easy to drink. Very. I could see drinking these all night. Not bad at all.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden copper coloured pour with copper white head. Nose is caramel, toast, and alcohol. Caramel taste that gradually turns bitter from the hops. Palate is oily, then a bit dry. OK, not great.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Darkish amber. Intensely toasty, slightly caramelly, taste reverses those characters, with delicate fruitiness, and a hearty body for a 5%er.
