COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Since the middle ages the folks in rural Germany have enjoyed a fresh locally brewed beer, straight from the brewer’s cellars known as "Kellerbier". Kellerbiers are unfiltered so the beer is naturally cloudy, distinctly flavourful and refreshing. We brew our kellerbier in small batches using our direct fired kettle. Special German whole-leaf hops are added late in the brewing process, producing a beer that is wonderfully aromatic with a hint of citrus and spice on the palate."

Foggy copper body with little visible carbonation, small head on top. Soft woody aroma with a finish of hops, slight caramel hints. Flavour is a good mix of citrus and hops with a dry finish; some malt notes on the back end. Really nice in fact, and way better than anything else I’ve had from this brewer.

My first ’Kellerbier’ experience, from a bottle pours a nice hazy orange with a pretty nice head. Some nice citrus on the nose with a bit of herb and flower. Pretty clean on the palate with some bitterness, finishes pretty quick. Surprisingly tasty.

On tap @ stacked Smokehouse Toronto. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a nice rich head. Notes of citrus. Nice soft caramel and malt offset with a hop profile similar to Creemore Lager. Enjoyed this almost as much as the lager.

473 mL can. Pours amber, with a frothy off white head, nice lacing, not as cloudy as some unfiltered beers. Subtle spices and a little caramel aroma, grass and cereal with a bit of hops and some cedar notes. Great easy drinking lager, clean, bitter with a lingering sourness that is quite pleasant. Light bodied, medium carbonation, relatively abrupt finish. Another very sessionable Creemore product.

Dark orange cloudy body with big yellowish head, decent retention, nice lacing. Grassy hops is the main course in the aroma today, spring water freshness, herbal-floral hints, orange peel. Awesome taste: bready, hoppy, herbal, good dose of bitterness, soft finish. Very harmonious combination.

This was the first kellerbier I’d ever had. Smells caramelicious and tastes like roasted dust, in a good way (yes there is a good way). Smacks your cheeks’ guts. Kudos to Creemore for taking the road less travelled.

Lata, gracias al señor Plovmand. Hazy ambewr colour, medium white head, ok lacing. Pleasant sweet hoppy malty fruiti bit yeasty like aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel and malt with fruit and yeast, some citrus. Quite pleasant.

Nice session beer. Well balanced between the noble hops and the malty profil of this brew.

Smells hoppy, a bit floral like a good American Pale Ale. Head pours gassy and has a little retaining power, lots of carbonation. Amber colour. Citrus peel astringent taste with some sourness. Not bad - better than creemore springs lager and certainly better than the misguided urbock. It’s alright, but nothing I’m going to rush back to. It’s different from the average beer, if anything. Tall can
