COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mad & Noisy is a new small batch series from Creemore Springs Brewery, named after the two rivers that merge and flow through the village of Creemore. The first release is Hops & Bolts India Pale Lager, a Czech twist on an English IPA. Hops & Bolts IPL is a bit lighter than an IPA, but a bit fuller than your golden lager, featuring a pithy bitterness that blends to a silky balancing malt sweetness. In the glass, you’ll see a slight unfiltered haze which settles to a bright orange-cedar colour and a dense, lingering off-white head. The big hoppy aroma features a blend of light tropical fruits and bold piney and grassy notes.

Scent of malt, hops, and citrus. Clear rich orange colour. Flavour of burnt sugar, yeast, hops, and molasses. Medium in bitterness, body, and carbonation. A beer that is greater than the sum of its parts - quite refreshing.

Can from LCBO. Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Average carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried grass, marmalade and stale hops. Flavour of tonic water and grain. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Very forgettable.

Smell: orange peel, caramel, floral hops. Taste: thin mouth feel, low carbonation. Finish: bitter dry, mild pine note, astringent. Seems unbalanced - bitter without much citrus. (can code D131616:01, tasted 06/05/16)

Can from the beer store. Pours orange amber with a white head that leaves some light lacing. Aroma is malts and carmel with a hint of hops. Flavour is sweet malts and tangy hops which gives it a good bitterness. Good beer.

can from the local LCBO in Kitchener, which, is a place I can almost tolerate regardless of Canada and its insolence. I shall have you liquidated. out of the can zero fux given as per usual. Mild booze nose, light grass. taste is pretty much euro trash lager, and given my surroundings, it fits. B sides, all you bruhs acting like Canada won the war of 1812 let me in on the facts of life. #1) it was the English empire in basically its high point... Canada won jack shit..... but bend your knee to the monarch #2) We got Washington State, Idaho (u a ho), and Oregon out the resulting treaty..... I am pretty sure we won this on bruhs. BY. A. LARGE. MARGIN. Medium and somewhat dry body, like my humor. or is it humore?

Can 47,3cl. Dark orange with an off white head. Malty aroma, no sign of hops. In the taste though there are plenty of hops. Very bitter, but no aroma hops, surprisingly. Medium length

Papillon (400) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 17, 2016
473 mL Can. Deep gold-orange body with a tenacious 1-finger cream head leaving a set of foamy ribs as it is sipped. Aroma of light sweet malts, pungent-astringent hops, an innuendo of clover. Flavor of light sweet malts, a nice tangy hop aftertaste and an astringent finish. An interesting example of using a lager yeast on what is really an ale recipe.
